The outstanding film Acharya has been released on 29^th April, 2022. Also, the running time for this movie is 154 minutes. The film Acharya was launched in October, 2019 and the principal photography for the movie was began in January, 2020. Owing to the COVID 19 pandemic the production has been delayed and finally after a long await it is all ready for us and available now in theatre.

The film star as well a great talented and successful actor Ram Charan is starring in this film, essaying the main lead role while Pooja Hedge is playing the character as female lead. Chiranjeevi is in the film ‘Acharya’ as the character, Acharya. Ram Charan is playing the role as Sidddha while Pooja as Neelambari. Sonu Sood is also there in the film as Basava. There are many more supportive actors in the film essaying some important roles.

It is a story of temple towns, Dharmasthali and thorp of Padaghattam, are surrounded by a forest, Siddhavabam. These two temple towns are interlinked by their values and sacred faith towards the goddess, Ghatamma. Dharmasthali is under the rule of Basava the role which is playing by Sonu Sood. BASAVA is a the local municipal chairman. He is intending to give these two holy places to Rathod and his brother for mining purposes. The Padaghattam people are known for their expertise in Ayurveda medicine, started visiting the place of Dharmasthali due to Basava’s cruelty.

Siddha and Acharya are actually old comrades and Acharya who is a naxal, arrives at Dharmasthali for his dear comrade, Siddha. Siddha is venerator of local Gurukul and strong solicitor of Dharma. Also, Basava and other villagers are studying with him in Gurukul.

When Basava plans with Rathod to destroy Ghatamma temple to start mining, Siddha gets to know their plans and attacks the trio but got injured badly. But then Acharya’s squad arrive there and take him to the nearest Siddhavanam forest. Siddha gets to know his origin.

Acharya, along with his squad kills each and every one from Rathod’s side to protect temples and they won it.

It a movie from where we can learn that how a disciple of Gurukul loves his temple and ready to sacrifice his life to protect it. ACHARYA is action drama film where there is a lit bit of thriller and mystery. Overall it is a movie showing respect and love to the sacred places and temples.
