Badhaai Do is an Indian Hindi-language movie of Bollywood which is a comedy drama film directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni. The story of the film is written by Suman Adhikary. And it is produced by Vineet jain under Junglee Pictures production.

Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are essaying the lead roles as a couple in a lavender marriage. Bhadhai Do movie was theatrically released on 11^th of February, 2022. Movie story:

The story of the move is all about a couple of different sexuality enviable. One is gay and the other is lesbo as well. RAJKMUAR RAO is playing the role as Shardul Thakur and Bhumi Pednekar as Suman Singh also known as Sumi in a magnificent way, who come across each other in a very pathetic situation. However, they struggle themselves to hide their secrets in any way possible.

Sumi is a physical education teacher, meets a boy on a chatting app for lesbians  where she was  actually chatting with a boy in the name of a girl. The boy wants to meet Sumi in a café where she finds and realizes that she has been cheated and got to know the truth. But the boy does not want to leave her easily. Sumi is stalked by the boy badly  and also threatened by him in the name of sexual orientation.

Sumi got fed up with his threatening and finally decided to complain against him to the police station. She goes to the police station and reports the same to Sharful Thakur who actually works in a women’s police station.

They meet this way awkwardly and immediately Sharful proposes to marry him, because his widowed mother is worried about his marriage purpose and she explains her that he is also a gay but want to marry a girl just to show off in the society. He actually means it and convince her to marry him to come out of the societal pressure.

They got married and plans for a honeymoon where he introduces his boyfriend Kabir to Sumi, she feels happy seeing them in such a good relationship and bond.

Also, after coming back to quarter Sumi meets to Rimjhim who is also a lesbian and they started their relationship. On the other side, Sharful realizes that his boyfriend Kabir doesn’t love and just passing time with him and for that he gets devastate.

They both are now in under pressure of not having a child yet. They try to hide the fact of having sexual identity problem, they somehow try to manage by saying that both of them are not able to give birth a baby in different situations, he tells that Sumi is having an issue in her track and she excuses that he is impotent. But, Sumi is found ok after a medical checkup.

Somehow, both of their families agree to surrogate a baby and for that she becomes so happy.

One day, Sumi got caught up with her lesbo girlfriend Rimjhim in intimacy. But then Shardul tells her not to reveal about her sexual identity. But they both finally decides to reveal it. And after a year, they adopt a baby.
