Dybuuk is an Indian upcoming 2021 Hindi-Language movie which is directed by Jay Krishnan and produced by Bhushan Kumar; Krishnan Kumar; Kumar Mangat Pathak under T-series and Panorama Studios. The film is almost ready to be premiered on and from 29th October, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. The film featuring Emraan Hashmi is leading the lead role in this supernatural horror film Dybuuk. It seems to be the remake film of Malayalam film Ezra which was released on 2017. The story of the film Dybuuk is written by director and writer Jay Krishnan itself.
In the year of 2019, April, the director Jay Krishnan who was even the director of the original film Ezra in Malayalam which was produced in 2017, he decided to remake the film in Hindi language titled as Dybbuk. The film shot started in July 2019 in Mauritius, even all the shots of this film Dybbuk was in Mumbai and Mauritius.
Dybbuk, in Jewish mythology, is a slanderous empowering spirit believed to be the displaced soul of a dead person. Assumingly, it leaves the body of an inviter once it has ascertained its intention. And sometimes even after being exorcised. The story begins with a newly married woman that is Mahi when brings an antique box into her house immediately both of them Mahi and her hubby Sam start to experience some paranormal activities.
Initially they were numb to understand the fact that is happening to them. And finally they come to know and realize it is all because of antique box which is actually a Dybbuk box possessing spirit. They then seek the help of a Rabbinist to unravel the mystery of the unjust activities.
