OMG – Oh My God 2 Movie is an Indian Hindi-language satirical comedy-drama film, one of the upcoming 2023 big films. OMG 2 movie is directed by Amit Rai and the story of the movie is written by Rajveer Ahuja, Chandra Prakash Dwivedi and Amit Rai. OMG 2 movie is going to release theatrically on 11th August 2023.
OMG 2 is a spiritual sequel to OMG – Oh My God, released on 28 September 2012. Mithun Chakraborty, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal were in lead roles in the 2012 film OMG. At that time the director of OMG was Umesh Shukla and the budget of the film at that time was 60 crores and the film did a business of more than 190 crores.
OMG 2 Movie is produced by Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Behl and Ashwin Varde, the film is made under the banner Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios and Wakaoo Films. OMG 2 film distribution rights are with Viacom18 Studios. The music of the movie Oh My God 2 is composed by Mangesh Dhakad.
In June 2021, a sequel to OMG was confirmed with a new story starring Akshay Kumar. In the same month, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam were added as new pairs and in November 2021.

Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 is going to be released theatrically on 11 August 2023 in Hindi language. OMG 2 film clash with Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Jailer which is releasing a day before on 10th August. After that, on the same day on August 11, Sunny Deol’s film Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is also releasing along with omg 2.

The budget of OMG 2 Movie has been told by the filmmakers to be Rs 150 crores. According to the information in which Akshay Kumar has charged only Rs 35 crore for OMG 2 and Pankaj Tripathi has taken Rs 5 crore and Yami Gautam has taken Rs 3 crore.

After having a relatively sluggish start at the box office on its first day, Akshay’s movie showed significant growth today and its increased morning and afternoon occupancy tells us the same.
While yesterday the movie’s morning shows recorded a mediocre 18 % occupancy, today the number rose by 10 % taking the occupancy all the way up to 28%. Talking about OMG 2’s afternoon shows, the movie recorded almost similar afternoon occupancy of around 53- 54% on both Friday and Saturday.
However, due to the weekend effect, the movie’s evening and night shows occupancy is expected to be much more than yesterday and for the same reason, OMG looks all set to witness a 40-44 % growth in’s collection and can clock anything between 15-16 crore (Gross) on its second day. If it happens, OMG 2’s gross collection for 2 days will stand at 26.50 crore.
