It is about a battle which was fought at Koregaon, Bhima on 1st January 1818, between the British East India Company and the Peshwa faction of the Maratha Confedery. Arjun Rampal is seen to be as a warrior, Mahar. After doing a lot of different kinds of roles Arjun Rampal is now turning to be a warrior for the upcoming war movie ‘The battle of Bhima Koregaon’. He told that he was dreaming of to act on a film like this and to act as a warrior in a historical movie. And finally now he is doing a periodic war film.

Just because he was willing to do a periodic film, so, when director-writer Ramesh Thite approached for the movie ‘The battle of Bhim Koregaon’, with the warrior role, he immediately agreed to sign the film.

We will able to see how he plays a brave Mahar war hero role, who then easily defeats the enemies from Peshwas, a huge army group. It is a movie with a great message to respect all the casts, creeds and religions. The story is based on true facts of society and sufferings.
